Ever wonder how a real writer does the work? Join us for a special creative writing workshop with local writer and UIUC professor John Dudek!
In the first hour, John will share stories and insights from his own writing journey; what keeps him going, how he tackles the blank page and what he’s learned along the way. It’s also a chance for you to share your process, inspirations or just soak up the good creative energy.
Then we write! The second hour is all about getting words on the page. John will help to spark ideas and participants will have the chance to receive anonymous or personal feedback that is thoughtful, honest and actually helpful!
Writers of all levels welcome. Bring a notebook, your weird little ideas and let's get to creative!
