We get it. Moving to a new community can be a challenge. Finding new activities, ways to get engaged in the area, and connecting with people is difficult. The Chambana Welcome Crew—a program from Experience Champaign-Urbana and Make It Champaign-Urbana—invites new residents to attend our New to CU Mixers that happen quarterly.
Our next New to CU Mixer, sponsored by the University of Illinois Division of Intercollegiate Athletics, will be held Tuesday, September 8, from 5:00–7:00 p.m. at The Colonnades Club at Gies Memorial Stadium for networking, food and drink. Meet our ambassadors from the Chambana Welcome Crew and learn about the community from Experience Champaign-Urbana. This event gives you the perfect opportunity to meet other new residents and create lasting connections.
