Skinner’s Coachhhouse Antiques is housed in a 1½ half story coach house, which dates to the late 1800s.  The business, owned by Kelly and Liz Skinner, opened in 1996 and is located at the northeast corner of South Market Street (Route 105) and Sage Drive in Monticello.

The shop specializes in lighting (oil and electric, vintage and newer); all lighting is completely restored and ready to use. The inventory however extends well beyond lighting and includes old china, glassware, Red Wing pottery, graniteware, silver, early kitchen wares, bottles, cookbooks, toys and games, comics, music, postcards, prints, tools and other collectibles as well.

Additionally, the shop offers repair, rewiring and restoration of lighting fixtures and lamps.  Kelly has given presentations on old lighting throughout the area and at an Aladdin conference.
