History comes to life in Monticello this September as the Piatt County Museum welcomes the public for a grand opening weekend featuring Piatt’s Patriots & Presidents exhibit with displays representing U.S.-involved wars throughout the nation’s history with a tie to Piatt County.
The museum will be open Saturday, September 19th from 10am – 4pm, and Sunday, September 20th, 1pm – 4pm for the inaugural opening. The exhibit will be open on the first Saturdays of the month (Oct. 3, Nov. 7, and Dec. 5) from 10am-4pm.
Admission is free, and visitors are invited to explore the displays, ask questions and learn more about the collection and the work underway to preserve it.
