Poet Mary Oliver’s beloved poems like “Wild Geese” and “How I Go to the Woods” used nature as a way to explore life’s mysteries. Led by instructor Kate Herald, students will explore some poetry basics like allegory and meter using Oliver’s poetry about the same kinds of flora and fauna that can be found at Allerton. Students will be invited to write and share their own life poem based on their observations of nature.
$35/person. Registration closes 1 day prior or when capacity is reached. All sales are final.
