Join Illinois International's office of Global Relations and the Mortenson Center for International Library Programs (both located on the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign campus) for Global CU: Neighbors Connecting Through Cultures and Stories, an intercultural event held in conjunction with National Immigrant Welcoming Week.
Inspired by the Human Library, this annual program aims to celebrate the vibrant and diverse CU community by bringing people together through conversation. Participants will be able to meet neighbors from different countries and learn about their personal stories as well as various cultural aspects like art, food and fashion.
Free and open to the public. Snacks and arts & crafts will be available.
