Celebrate Oak-tober by learning to identify the tree species within the Harry L. Swartz campground, and get an insider view of how the Operations and Natural Resources crews maintain and restore this ecologically important landscape. See some tools of the trade up close and practice the techniques of Timber Stand Improvement yourself. After the indoor presentation and outdoor walk through the campground, stick around for a free weenie and s'mores roast over a campfire. The walk will be 0.5 miles long on paved road.
