Teen Open Lab for hands-on workshops in music and engineering.
Join Street College every Wednesday at the Urbana Free Library’s Teen Open Lab for hands-on workshops in music and engineering. Youth can explore the fundamentals of beat-making, music production, and DJing through our Street Musicology: 101 program, or dive into creative engineering challenges with RC car builds and STEM kits in Street College Engineering. These light, drop-in sessions introduce students to the tools and mindsets of Hip-Hop innovation, combining creativity, tech, and teamwork in an engaging and supportive space.
