Start with a tasting by making an appointment at Silver Tree Spirits in Paxton, where brothers Will and Dallas Glazik distill spirits from grain grown on their own fifth-generation farm.
Then head to Riggs Beer Company in Urbana for a pint in the Biergarten where you'll enjoy sustainably grown grains, German-style craft, long communal tables, and yard games.
Finish with dinner at Maize Mexican Grill—their tortillas are freshly made from corn grown by the farmers at Silver Tree!

Start with brunch at Caprae, the onsite restaurant at Prairie Fruits Farm & Creamery in Champaign. Visit the goats, sample, the cheese, and take a hike.
Drive out to Sundrop Alpacas near Bement to visit the herd. Meet the animals, tour the farm store, and maybe even stay for a needle-felting or spinning class.
Head to Delight Flower Farm for an early-evening workshop like bouquet-making, floral design, or watercolor. Or stop by their farmstand for a beautiful bouquet to take home.

Pack snacks and head south! Start off at Aikman Wildlife Adventure in Arcola. Drive the safari, walk the animal habitats, and splurge on the behind-the-scenes wagon tour.
Loop over to The Great Pumpkin Patch in Arthur for the sheer spectacle of of 400 varieties, imaginative displays, and Amish-baked treats.
End the day at Hardy's Reindeer Ranch in Rantoul for hayrides, a trip through the cornmaze, and an encounter with the most kissable animals in central Illinois.
