This fall, the UC Independent Media Center (UCIMC) turns 25!
From October 24–26, we’ll gather to celebrate featuring live music, art-making, a history panel, tours, and a community meal. We hope you’ll join us as we honor our past and envision the next 25 years of amplifying community voices, supporting grassroots media, and building a vibrant home for the arts.
12-3:30pm - Open House with family-friendly activities, tours,
skillshares and live DJs. Come tour and get to know our creative space
including our working groups: Books to Prisoners, WRFU Radio, the Public i Newspaper, and Makerspace Urbana!
1pm - Watch the Pride Parade
from the IMC Porch with popcorn and friends
3pm - Song Circle
on the IMC Porch
4-4:30pm - Acknowledgement Ceremony
to recognize IMC's founding funders and lifetime members
4:30-6pm - Panel Discussion: Roots, Routes & Remedies
