Paint a charming pair of love birds in this relaxed,
step-by-step acrylic painting class.
Perfect for beginners or anyone looking for a creative evening out,
you'll leave with both a finished canvas and newfound painting skills.

Local artist and instructor Kari Keller guides you through
fundamental acrylic painting techniques in a supportive,
no-pressure environment. Even if you've never painted before,
you'll complete a lovely finished artwork.

Workshop covers:

  • Basic color mixing and palette use

  • Blending techniques for smooth transitions

  • Layering for depth and dimension

  • Brush control and stroke techniques

  • Composition and design basics

  • Finishing touches that make paintings shine

Each participant paints their own love birds canvas—
a complete, ready-to-hang artwork perfect for Valentine's season or year-round display.
The step-by-step approach ensures everyone leaves with a painting they're proud of.

Kari Keller is Director and Instructor at Prism Community Art School,
