For centuries, people have marked the darkest days of the year by gathering together among lit candles, symbols of warmth, hope, and the gradual return of light. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll create your own artisan beeswax candles while learning about the natural beauty and benefits of beeswax.
Guests will pour candles in handcrafted vessels, choosing from seasonal scents inspired by winter woods, citrus, and warming spices. Along the way, we’ll explore why beeswax candles have long been cherished for their clean burn, soft golden glow, and connection to the hardworking bees that make them possible.
As your candles take shape, we’ll share a bit about how honey bees survive the winter months, clustering together in the hive and relying on the honey they stored through the warmer seasons.
You’ll leave with two beautifully crafted beeswax candles, perfect for bringing cozy warmth and light to your home, or gifting to someone special during the holiday season!
