Tim Crosby is a Southern Illinois-based Americana songwriter and performer. Playing solo or with his trio, Oil Chip Road, Crosby performs at venues in Illinois, Missouri, Iowa, Indiana and Kentucky, playing all original music that explores the trials and triumphs of everyday people. Born and raised in black-dirt flatlands of Central Illinois, near the agribusiness/industrial city of Decatur, Crosby has been writing songs and playing music most of his life, starting his first band at 13 years old as its drummer.
