It’s that time of year to make a batch of Fire Cider! This traditional herbal preparation combines bold, warming ingredients like garlic, onion, ginger, and hot peppers with apple cider vinegar to create a fiery infusion that has long been part of folk herbal traditions.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll make your own quart of Fire Cider while learning about its history, traditional uses, and even the fascinating story behind the fight over the name “Fire Cider.” You’ll leave with your own jar to finish infusing at home and the knowledge to make future batches yourself.
