Meet on the West side of Eisner Park in Champaign. Register below to RSVP or add your cat to the map. Or just show up! You can submit this form. Very leisurely walk that we plan to keep around 3 miles and around 2 hours. Feel free to join in or bow out at any point.
Originating out of Minneapolis, a Cat Walk combines neighborhood pride with profound cat appreciation. Essentially, people sign up to enjoy a stroll through a cat saturated neighborhood while people show off their furry roommates from windows, screened in porches, etc.
If you’ve ever wanted your cat to be a celebrity, or you love seeing people’s cats in windows and think “what’s their deal?” this is your moment!
- Wear cat stuff
- Make a cat themed sign
- Bring a camera/binoculars
- Bring friends
- Wear comfy shoes
- Enthusiastic cat whimsy encouraged!
Want to add your cat to the map or join the walk? Fill out this form! We will notify you if your cat ends up being within the walk area.
