In Mahjong 101, you'll learn the tiles, basic aspects of the game and how to read the 2026 National Mahjong League (NMJL) card. At the end of the first workshop, you'll feel comfortable with the basic rules, tiles and setup of the game.
For Mahjong 102, you'll expand your knowledge with further explanation of the rules and a focus on strategy and etiquette. Mahjong is a game of skill, strategy and luck!
At the behest of the workshop leaders, this event is specifically designed for attendees to take both courses on Oct. 22 and Oct. 29. We cannot sell tickets for each night individually, so make sure your calendar is free for both sessions before purchasing tickets. Each session will be from 5-9pm on Oct. 22 and Oct. 29.
Tickets $85 plus fees for both sessions. Registration ends Oct. 21.
