What makes a good sweater? It isn't just the color, the cut, or even the price tag. It's what the sweater is made of, how that fiber behaves, and how it fits into your actual life.
At Good Sweater, we'll gather at the salon for a hands-on evening exploring fibers, with a special focus on sweaters and how to find the ones you'll actually love wearing. We'll pass around real garments, feel the differences between fibers, and talk through what makes them work (or not work). I'll share what I pay attention to when I'm shopping, and why cashmere isn't always what I reach for, and polyester is sometimes exactly the right choice.
There will be plenty of time for questions, conversation, and getting your hands on things. We'll sip something, talk clothes, and leave with a better sense of what to look for the next time we're standing in front of a rack of sweaters wondering, Is this a good one?
Afterward, the salon will stay open for shopping and general merriment.
