Allerton Park and Retreat Center’s Kirby Winter Wellness Walk
There’s nothing like the Kirby Winter Wellness Walk at Allerton. Surrounded by holiday lights, you can walk along the grounds of Allerton and experience a number of different designs.
With the 5pm to 9pm time range for open walking hours, the lights shine bright in the dark night sky.
Bring the whole family or plan a little date night getaway to snap shots around lit gardens, walking trails, and the historic Allerton Mansion.
Aikman Wildlife’s Pathway of Lights
Aikman Wildlife is unlike any other attraction in our area. Now, imagine the wonderful wildlife taking residence in this amazing space are now surrounded by gorgeous holiday lights.

Riggs German Christmas Market
German Christmas Markets date back to the 15th century. Riggs is now hosting their own German Market for the holiday season, with plenty of opportunities for festive photos in their Beer Garden.
With traditional German market stalls built just for the event and plenty of holiday decorations, you can snap your holiday photos all the while enjoying local beer brewed with ingredients grown less than 100 feet from where you stand.
