This three day show will feature a finely curated selection of one of a kind, buy now wear now pieces. Perfect timing for a little mid-summer boost to your wardrobe staples. All of her pieces are garment dyed, hand dyed, and hand painted poetic color stories that change through the seasons. This will be a really special trunk show full of natural fabrications and breezy easy delights.
Cynthia Ashby has inspired women for over 30 years with her collection of effortless, comfortable play clothes. A California native transplanted to Chicago, she earned her B.F.A from the School of the Art Institute, and at the same time, taught herself how to design apparel. She applied her exuberance, creativity and curiosity, playing with different fibers, materials, and dye techniques, and construction until she found her inimitable aesthetic. Just out of college, she launched her first official clothing line, securing several local boutiques who appreciated her superior craftsmanship and unique point of view. A brand was born!
