We all enjoy beautiful flowers, and we all need food to thrive—but neither would be possible without the help of pollinators! Discover the fascinating world of bees, butterflies, and other pollinators and learn how these important creatures help grow the flowers and food we enjoy every day. Join us at the Idea Garden, located near the intersection of South Lincoln Ave. and West Florida Ave. in Urbana, on the University of Illinois campus. After the program, each participant will have an opportunity to participate in a craft that they get to take home – a cute bee made out of beads! This program is for children ages 5-11. Please bring blankets or chairs for seating. If you need a reasonable accommodation to participate, please contact Valerie Nicolini at vln3@illinois.edu.
