Downtown Champaign will serve as the backdrop for Friday Night Live,
a free street-side performance series featuring multiple bands every week.
Friday Night Live will be held every Friday from 6-9pm starting
May 29th through August 28nd. Performances will be held at the
intersections of Main & Fremont, Neil & Park, One Main Plaza,
and Market & Taylor in Downtown Champaign. Friday Night Live will
include an eclectic mix of music including rock, folk, bluegrass, jazz,
R&B, funk, hip-hop, country, indie, and blues, along with
a free kids’ activity such as bubbles, balloons, face painting,
caricatures, hula-hooping, and glitter tattoos.
