Horse Progress Days is the premier annual event for sustainable, horse-drawn agriculture, designed to promote and demonstrate animal-powered farming and homesteading. It features live equipment field demonstrations, machinery exhibits from Amish and independent shops, seminars, and tours of local agricultural businesses.
Field Demonstrations: Live showcases of innovative horse-drawn equipment, including plowing, tillage, and haying equipment.
Homesteading Seminars: Hands-on sessions covering sustainable, small-scale farming basics like portable fencing, animal husbandry (goats, sheep, poultry), and homestead food production.
Family & Food: Features a daily Children’s Pony Express, breed presentations, and fresh homemade food and breakfast buffets available on-site.
Admission $15 for adults.
Children 12 and under are free with an adult admission.
Alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited.
