Join us for a unique farm-to-table experience as we harvest and make a faux braid garlic bouquet! This hands-on workshop begins in our garlic patch where you will learn about growing practices and proper harvesting methods. Watch our farm manager Ian demonstrate harvesting techniques, then get your hands dirty washing and prepping fresh garlic bulbs.
Under our shaded pavilion, learn how to make a faux garlic braid using hardneck garlic bulbs - a beautiful and practical way to store your harvest. Each participant will create their own faux garlic braid to take home, along with newfound knowledge about growing and preserving garlic.
The workshop concludes with time to relax and celebrate your new skills with farm-fresh gelato or a craft cocktail available at Caprae. Perfect for gardeners, cooking enthusiasts, or anyone interested in traditional food preservation methods.
