Earthstar Mountain is an ode to curiosity. It asks what it means to live a life: how do we decide which direction to take? How do we stay there? And what happens when the rug is pulled from under our feet? Once again working with her partner and collaborator Sam Evian at their recording studio Flying Cloud, Hannah Cohen’s fourth full-length album Earthstar Mountain, is a keepsake of Cohen’s time in the Catskills, built over the course of 2020-2024, as blurred, shimmering memories come into focus to produce a collage of echoes and sonic souvenirs. Featuring contributions from Sufjan Stevens, Clairo, Sean Mullins, Liam Kazar, Oliver Hill and more, Earthstar Mountain is a love letter to the Catskills and in the interconnectedness of all things: in her past, present, future and alternative selves, in her friends––here and gone––and in the mountain that peers through her windows.
Sierra Sikora
Sierra Sikora is an 19-year-old singer, songwriter, and music producer whose style blends pop, singer-songwriter, and indie influences. Her music, characterized by raw honesty and emotional depth, seeks to connect with listeners and provide comfort through heartfelt lyrics and melodies. Sierra writes and produces her own music, ensuring a personal touch in every track.
Sierra’s passion for music has been evident from a young age, beginning with church performances at age three, and then musical theatre at age nine. She has quickly cemented herself as a regular performer around her university campus in Chambana and hometown, Chicago. Professionally trained in both classical and contemporary voice styles, her voice offers a unique and versatile sound. Whether it be a fun and upbeat full-band set, or an intimate acoustic show, Sierra is sure to captivate audiences with each performance.
Sierra just released her self-produced debut EP, Confessions! Over the past few years, she has worked fervently and passionately at her musical goals, and her commitment has shown. Her music has garnered over 400,000 streams across streaming services with over 70,000 all-time listeners. She has formed a wholesome community of listeners, affectionately known as the ‘Sierra Squad’. As she continues to develop her sound, Sierra’s dedication and talent promise to deliver with her forthcoming releases.
