Since 2006, the Backyard BBQ Band has been playing music that's perfect for a backyard party including originals, traditional country, blues, western swing, jazz and more. From Hank Williams to Louis Jordan, from Chicago to New Orleans and back again, again, join the band for a road trip through a musical roadmap of American roots music. The Backyard BBQ gigs are all about playing music with friends and having a lot of fun. Doug Schroer on harmonicas and Rob Krumm on guitar are the head chefs at this BBQ, and they always recruit a number of friends to fill-out the band. Featuring music from the early 1900's through the 1960's, the band proudly proclaims that they play "None of the hits, all of the time."
