The Rose Bowl’s weekly Hootenanny gets a historic partnership with Spurlock Museum’s Farm Aid exhibit this Monday evening, marking exactly 40 years since the first Farm Aid concert rocked Memorial Stadium right here in Champaign on September 22, 1985. This week’s Hoot is going full tribute mode, with participants covering songs from that legendary original lineup — because sometimes the universe aligns perfectly and you get to sing Willie Nelson covers on the exact anniversary of when he helped save America’s family farms.
