Step back in time and hear from Mary Todd Lincoln as she shares some of the remarkable events of her life, particularly in the years following President Lincoln's assassination. Mary Lincoln will be portrayed by Ann Morris Bruehler, a lifetime member of the Association of Lincoln Presenters. She is involved in live theatre as an actor, director, producer and writer in Charleston, Illinois. This presentation seeks to inform audiences of all ages about the lesser-known events of Mary Lincoln's life as a widow, including her financial woes, the Old Clothes scandal, her travels to Europe, her insanity trial, and her time spent in a mental institution.
