Come spend two evenings (Feb. 10 and Feb. 24)
with us watching films, reflecting together, and building community
as we celebrate Black queer histories, stories, and futures.
Night 2 of Honoring Black Queer Films features
The Color Purple from 2023, a musical reimagining
that centers Black womanhood, resilience, and love with an openly queer heart.
It focuses on tenderness, chosen family, and self discovery as sources
of healing and strength, and reminds us that Black queer love is central,
joyful, and worth celebrating.
Snacks and beverages will be provided, or feel free to bring your own.
Rated PG 13.
