In honor of this celebration of performance art,
we will be hosting a Poetry Slam on April 18th!
Anyone who may be interested in performing and competing in the Poetry Slam, is welcome to attend this workshop. Here you will learn first what specifically a poetry slam is, watch examples of other Poetry Slam performances, have an opportunity to begin writing your original poem or choosing a published poem to memorize, and practice your recitation!
