Using acrylic paints, you'll create a vibrant spring flower composition
perfect for welcoming the season. This class covers essential painting
techniques in a relaxed, encouraging environment where everyone—
from complete beginners to experienced painters—can enjoy the creative process.
You'll learn:

Kari Keller is Director and Instructor at Prism Community Art School,
where she teaches stained glass, painting, and mosaic.
A multidisciplinary artist working in Champaign-Urbana since 2008,
Kari is passionate about making art accessible to everyone,
regardless of experience level.
Her teaching philosophy emphasizes process over perfection,
creating a supportive environment where students can explore
their creativity without pressure. Kari's approach makes
even complex techniques feel achievable.
