How do scientists study systems as different as a cell, a rainforest,
and the Earth’s hidden materials? This evening takes you across scales,
from the physics of living cells to the climate role of the Amazon to the search
for clean-energy materials using quantum-inspired tools. Expect a night of big ideas,
surprising connections, and science that stretches from the very small to the very large.
Pint of Science is a non-profit organization that brings some of the most
brilliant scientists to your local bar of cafe to discuss their latest research
and findings with you. You don't need any prior knowledge, and this is your
chance to meet the people responsible for the future of science
(and have a drink with them).
Our festival runs over a few days in May every year.
